A complete redesign of Tytherington High School campus has brought coherence back to the school in place of several extensions and temporary buildings. Work included the construction of ten classrooms and the refurbishment of the existing sixth form, IT block and learning resource centre.

The budget was maximised by replacing the temporary buildings with a new, interlinked teaching block and an improved integration of the whole school campus. The new block provides a learning environment supported by an open-plan, naturally ventilated social space and the school has a more settled and unified atmosphere.
