Poppyfields – Projects

This large ambitious extra care scheme has been designed to provide sensitive housing for older people which bring huge benefits to the area due to high demand for this accommodation type.

Featuring 60 one-bed and 18 two-bed apartments on a site off Woodpecker Close in Saughall Massie, all the apartments have 24-hour care and support services on site to help independent living. The scheme incorporates a large bistro and a hair salon, both of which are also open to the public.

The development includes a 2,100 sq ft office which is used by Alpha as its new headquarters, featuring an open plan office, boardroom, hub space along with kitchen/breakout area for staff.

All the dwellings are let at an affordable rent, with funding from Homes England.
