Henrion Building – Projects

Now linking a previously disjointed campus, the new student concourse through the Henrion Building provides an exhibition space for the Faculty of Arts; an events space for university open days and also a new entrance for the College Road campus, advertising the university brand.

The university estate is a combination of buildings constructed at different times and in different styles: the Henrion building, itself, having been constructed in 1961.The design intent for this project was to ensure that the refurbished façade and completed building fitted with its context and so the prevailing colour scheme was referenced in the glazing design.
