About Cornerstone SEN School
This project looks to refurbish and extend an existing disused 1900’s school building in Bexley to create a new facility which will provide an appropriate local learning environment to meet the complex characteristics of 90 children with SEMH and ASD needs who require a low arousal and highly therapeutic environment.
Works will be carried out in three phases, and will include refurbishment and upgrade to the existing building to provide general and specialist teaching classrooms, and a new extension will be built and attached to the existing school building. The new build will accommodate additional classrooms as well as a multi-use hall.
Works are due to start on site in June 2021 and are due for completion in July 2022.
