Secured via an architectural competition, this master plan identifies a series of proposed developments for the university’s city centre campus to take place over a ten-year period.

An initial analytical review of the university’s estate explored departmental requirements, estate data, including space utilisation, plus identification of opportunities and proposals. The review was carried out in support of the university’s strategic objectives resulting in a high-level analysis of the estate’s development potential.

The subsequent master plan is based around a strong urban design and landscape-led approach in the creation of a campus with distinct “character zones.” These zones respond to the specific academic and residential uses of the estate and its connections to the wider city, its commerce and society.

The team is both professional and personable and has consistently delivered work to a high quality, on time and budget.
