Pozzoni partners National Care Forum Conference

4 June 2019

Andrew Smith and Nigel Saunders will be representing Pozzoni at the National Care Forum Annual Conference on the 5th June. We have signed up as an official event partner with the focus this year being ‘shaping great care’.

The theme will identify and discuss the significant changes in the wider community that are impacting care provision including integration of health, housing and care, the rise of technology, changing demographics, emerging communities and pressures on workforce and funding.

Andrew Smith said: “This is a great opportunity to join in the care conversation with senior professionals, government bodies, trustees and key influencers. The programme is really varied and it promises to be a jam-packed day, but key for our business are two themes. Firstly ‘emerging communities’ which relates closely to the work already being carried out with our long-standing client Belong, providing settings sensitive to cultural or diverse needs. Secondly ‘integrating health, housing and care’ which is a key opportunity for registered providers and non-NHS providers to deliver vital bed spaces for step down accommodation or wider care support whilst individuals remain in their community.

“We are very much looking forward to hearing the panel debates at the conference and sharing our many experiences of working in the care sector.”

The National Care Forum has been running for 25 years and supports the not-for-profit care and support sector. The Annual Conference is now fully subscribed and will take place at The Tower Hotel in London.
