We acted as the Executive Architect for this scheme, which saw the redevelopment of a 1980s office building to create 57 New York loft-style luxury apartments. These range from studio flats to split-level penthouse residences alongside commercial and retail use on the ground floor.

The existing building was stripped back to its steel frame and an additional six floors added with a new brick and glass envelope built around it. The successful remodelling relied on the resolution of several challenges, including restricted access, reuse of the existing structure, minimising disruption to ground floor use and the proximity to the neighbouring building.

The building has a number of exclusive, resident-only services including a 24-hour concierge, fully equipped gym, private car parking and an eighth-floor sky garden, from which residents can enjoy views across Central London.

Working alongside the developer’s architect, Stiff and Trevillion, It achieved a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and was awarded ‘Best Residential Building’ at the RIBA Awards.
