Lincoln Road, Blackburn
Lincoln Road comprises 61 houses on a steeply sloping urban renewal site for a mainly Asian community. House sizes vary from bungalows to nine person, three-storey houses. The scheme includes four bespoke units for residents with disabilities. The development is built to 'Lifetime Homes' (the Housing Corporation Scheme Development standards). Phase 3, built in timber frame, achieves an EcoHomes 'Very Good' standard. It is mixed tenure, with homes for rent, shared ownership and outright sale.
The project is built on a Brownfield site enabling this scheme to bring improvements to the Lincoln Rd area.
