Heaton Lane, Stockport
Planning was gained for the 25,000 ft mixed use scheme in Stockport in December 2008. The design incorporated a hotel, offices, residential accommodation and retail on the site of a former industrial area positioned alongside the town's Victorian viaduct.
The design aim was to create a development which met the council's aspiration of a landmark, gateway building at this prominent entrance to the town centre whilst providing a sustainable replacement for a brownfield site.
