To accommodate the growing number of pupils at the Academy a new teaching building, extension and sports hall refurbishment was needed.

The new building includes a science department with nine laboratories and classrooms for general use, a 260-seat auditorium, drama studios, a dance studio, an art and fashion department, a music room and staff areas.

Improvements were made to the sports hall and the size of its changing facilities were increased. A new full-sized artificial grass pitch with floodlighting for rugby and football was constructed which is made available for community use during evenings and weekends.

Elsewhere, a new playground for Year 7 students was created, more car parking added and landscaping improved.

From initial engagement with Pozzoni, through to the final realisation of the project, we were hugely impressed with them. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
