We share the view of many of our clients that
whilst a general kitchen and bathroom upgrade is a
start, what is really necessary is a more
comprehensive and inclusive process. For an
estate to rediscover its sense of place, community
and pride, there needs to be environmental
improvements, infill development, community
facilities and security all brought together with
community/tenant participation.
Sometimes hard decisions need to be made and
we are prepared to make these kinds of
recommendations. Demolition can complement
refurbishment and create a focus for renewal.

and involvement of many stakeholders and working
closely with residents, housing officers, tenant liaison
officers and other parties can be truly inspirational.
