As a Senior Partner, David Hughes' responsibilities include
strategic forward planning and finance. His
experience covers several areas of building types
particularly in Care, Social Housing, Leisure,
Commercial, Urban Regeneration, and Inner City
Housing. David is passionate in his commitment
to appropriate, innovative design for the very frail,
particularly those with dementia. |

Tim Whiting is responsible for the master planning,
co-ordination and overall design of major schemes
including Industrial, Retail, Commercial and City Living
Residential Developments. His role as Design Partner
ensures his input in the design delivery of the projects
through the Practice. |

Brian Hanlon’s responsibilities include the co-ordination of
technical issues throughout the Practice together with
the financial control of projects ranging in value from £250,000 to £30m. His experience has been focused
predominantly within the Education, Leisure and
Retail sectors. |
 |
Stewart Grant joined the Practice in 2000 to strengthen the
overall management team and take responsibility for
projects in the Commercial, Retail and Mixed Use
sectors. Heading up the Practice’s HR and Admin
management functions, he is also actively involved
with various business development initiatives. |

John Cooke has over 20 years experience in a variety of
sectors, predominantly Housing and Urban Renewal.
His particular focus is on Housing, Sheltered Housing,
Care Homes and Special Needs Units. |

Damian Utton is responsible for the delivery of projects and management of project teams for the Care, Special Needs and Social Housing sectors. Damian took a six month sabbatical to research care home design around the world and a book of his findings ‘Designing Homes for People with Dementia’ was published November 2006. This has lead to invitations to speak about dementia design at national and
international conferences.

Nigel Saunders has wide experience in a variety of project and building types, particularly
education. He has been responsible for the design and project management of
several major schemes in primary, secondary and
further education. |
